David Boucher, 46, passed away suddenly November 15, 2023 in Helendale, CA.
Aaron was born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Oct. 2,1977. He has lived in California since
1978. He graduated from Apple Valley High School in 1995. After High School, Aaron
attended Peterson’s School of Engineering in Massachusetts. He received his 2nd Class
Fireman’s License to operate steam plants when he graduated. He then worked in water
treatment which led him to become employed at Kramer Junction SEGS Projects ( Solar
Electric Generating Systems). He moved to Henderson, Nevada with his dad, brother and
uncle to build, start up and become a control room operator at Acciona Solar Plant which
provides power to the Las Vegas area. He has been in the control room at solar power plants
for almost 30 years. He was most recently employed at Atlantica (Mojave) in Hinkley,
California.
Growing up Aaron loved playing baseball, he was on many Apple Valley Little League
teams and played at Apple Valley High School. He was a Boston sports fan and was always
seen wearing one of the teams’ hats. He has been to Red Sox games at Fenway Park, Celtics
at the Boston Garden and Bruins at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
He also loved to cook and would make gourmet meals especially when our family would
vacation together at the River every year. He gave us a New England Seafood feast for his
birthday last month. Aaron was known for making meals for his colleagues at Atlantica Solar.
Aaron had the most generous heart and compassion for the people he cared about.
Before his back surgery, He liked riding his Harley in Nevada, He enjoyed boating at
Silverwood Lake in CA and Lake Mead in Nevada. He also had a passion for restoring boats.
Aaron is predeceased by his father David A. Boucher, who also passed in 2023. And his
grandparents, Robert and Lucille Morissette Boucher, Norman and Marie Bourque Haley.
He is survived by his mother Norma Jean Haley Boucher, sisters, Jessica Boucher and
Jaimee Boucher, brother KC and his wife Amy Johnson Boucher, nephews Logan Boucher
Dylan Boucher and Kayden Boucher Allen. He has several Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Judi
Haley Wilkins, Tom and Lois Haley of Massachusetts, Stephen Boucher of Arkansas, Shaun
and Eileen Haley, Joe and Marie Alaimo of California. Cousins: Haley Wilkins, Kevin and
Amanda Haley, Rosie Scottland of Massachusetts, Tristan and George Viscoso of Colorado,
Joey and Jessica Alaimo, John Alaimo and Chrystal Boucher of California. Aaron is also
predeceased by his cousin Brent Wilkins who also passed in 2023, Aunt Sheila Boucher Alaimo,
Uncle Jim and Aunt Barbara Buechler Boucher and his best fur friend, Thor.
In addition he also leaves many cherished friends and co-workers.
