A native Floridian, he was born in Orlando, Florida on August 5, 1943, to Clarence C. “Andy”
Anderson Sr. and Kathleene “Kay” Anderson.
He was preceded in his death by his wife of 43 years, Barbara A. Anderson.
Kit and Barbara had three sons together - Kevin Anderson (Trish), Keith Anderson (Laura) and
Kirk Anderson (Jenny). He is also survived by six grandchildren.
He proudly served his home state, retiring after a career with the Florida Department of
Environmental Protection.
A lifetime aviation enthusiast, he was a founding member of the Sanford Aero Modelers Club, volunteering to serve in many officer capacities over the years, including Club President.
