Betty June Hudson

Betty June Hudson, 83, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017. Betty was born in Oxford, Florida on August 22, 1933. Raised by parents Ruth L. and Cecil Hall, who served in the US Military. Betty had the opportunity to live in Japan for about a year while in high school. She met her husband, Lloyd, in Orlando. They were married on September 4, 1951 in Hialeah, Florida. They had planned to have a church wedding but when Lloyd received his overseas orders they changed their plans. They were married for 65 years! Betty was a stay-at-home mom of two daughters and she volunteered occasionally at their schools during special events. She enjoyed cooking southern-style meals for her family. Betty loved to read, play cards and board games with family. Through the years, she remained committed to her church and loved serving as a Sunday School teacher and with the WMU. Even when she became physically challenged, attending the Sunday church service was very important to her. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Lloyd A. Hudson. Betty is survived by her Daughters, Katherine Johnston (Berry) and Susan Sexton; Grandsons, Matthew Johnston and Luke Johnston; Granddaughters, Amrah Massave, Ashley Sexton and Becky Sexton; Great Grandsons, Ethan Johnston and Mason Johnston; Sister, Dorothy J.
