William Clinton Spivey

William C Spivey, age 88, of Raleigh, NC, passed into eternity on October 2, 2023, after a brief battle with cancer. He was born to Marvin and Margie Spivey of Willow Spring, NC in 1935. As a devoted Christian he served faithfully at Carolina Pines Baptist Church. For 30 years, Clinton built a business on Godly principles, serving the Triangle creating beautiful countertops. He ministered to many by giving them a job when they were in need. He loved his dear friends that he shared many horseback adventures with and reminisced often of his "cowboy" days.

Clinton leaves behind his loving and caring wife of 21 years, Debra McCullough Spivey. Also his children, Jeff (Sue) Spivey and Jenny (Randy) Shaw; his grandchildren, Lauren (Matt) Daniels, Allyson Spivey, Derek (Brooke) Shaw, and Dillon (Jordan) Shaw; his great grandchildren, Faith Gregory (Josh), Lyla Daniels, Nick Daniels, Jacob Gribensk, Heidi Shaw, Penny Shaw, McKenzie Shaw and Bridget Shaw; his loving siblings, Mitchel Spivey, Glenn (Helen) Spivey, Bobbie Lou Rhodes; sister in-laws, Lillie McCullough and Sherri (Ricky) Rowell; also, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Along with his parents, Clinton is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Ruby Lewter Spivey (2001) and a son, William Lee Spivey (1959).
