I still think about Tori often, and how I wish we had become better friends because she was such a light in a dark world. We met through cosplay, and I still have vivid memories of running up and down hallways in our costumes, giggling at whatever our inside joke was for the day. I remember her kindness, always making sure I was okay and making me feel included. Most importantly I remember her person, bold, unapologetic, and fun loving. We will never forget you Tori, never ever.

I knew Tori in middle school, yet even after that we stayed in touch now and then. I got her into a show called Hetalia, and she became even more transfixed on it than I was at the time. I remember the end of last year, she texted me out of the blue for the first time in a while, telling me the show was going to get a season 7 in 2021. I wish she could have gotten to see it, as goofy as that sounds. I'm glad I got to be a kid with her and enjoy that sort of thing to the fullest right by her side. 

Tori was the love of my life. Months have gone by since her passing and this part of me still feels so completely hollow. For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved her. And she loved me too. I know she did. She was such a giving person, and she had the biggest heart. She brought color to my world, brightening my life with every moment we spent together. I wholeheartedly believe we were made for each other. Every moment of hesitation feels ridiculous now knowing that she’s gone. I always saw myself spending the rest of my life with her, but it took losing her to realize how impossible an alternative path feels. Every time someone dies, people talk about how wonderful and unique and perfect they were. But Tori really was. She was a complete anomaly. Everything about her was impossible to forget. I’d give absolutely anything to have her back. Or to have been able to go with her. Or to at least be able to tell her everything I never got around to saying. 

We both loved the musical, Bare: a Pop Opera. It’s always been a relatively obscure musical, so it always felt like something that was just for us. She was the Peter to my Jason. This was our song.

We sang it all the time. We had every word, every harmony, and even some loose blocking down. The way I felt every time we sang this together is a feeling that just can’t be replicated.

I just found out about this months after and I can’t stop but feel completely empty. Tori was my first real friend who I genuinely was happy around. She was the goofiest person alive and made me so comfortable and confident whenever I was around her and I wished we had more opportunities to become better friends but unfortunately covid sprung and made that difficult though I know that isn’t a good excuse. I am truly sorry for all who fell as I do for both of their loss and I wish u all the strength in the world.

Tori and I had a lot of fun at prom and eating Burger King and McDonald’s at my kitchen table. It’s funny to think that only a couple weeks ago she was eating an impossible burger in her prom dress and leaving a trail of glitter where ever she went. I still find glitter in my car to this day and we still have glitter all over the floor. You just can’t get rid glitter just like how you can’t get rid of the memory of Tori

Victoria was an amazing person. She was smart, funny, talented, and she always lit up a room with her bright energy. We met in fifth grade playing a "getting to know you" game. It blossomed into an amazing friendship. From Anime to Cosplay, Tori is a part of why I am me today. She inspired people, she helped whenever she could, and she wasn't afraid to be herself. I will never have another best friend like her again and I will look for her in the stars as she will be the brightest one....I love you Victoria, Never Forget ❤ 

I met Tori when I first started 5th grade at a brand new school. We clicked and ended up being great friends. I will always hold dear in my heart her phone calls and voicemails she used to leave and all the memories we shared. My deepest condolences to her family and friends. 


As a teacher, you never know what the day will bring. Tori always surprised me with her outfits, her hair, her makeup, and her quirky little ways she had. One day, she offered me a tiny naked baby no bigger than my thumb nail. I just thanked her for the gift and put it on my desk so she would know I appreciated it, enjoying the giant smile on her face as I accepted it. After the gift of naked baby #2, I asked why she had more than one of these strange things, and she informed me she had hundreds! Of all different colors, and that she used them to make jewelry that she sold or made for friends. I'm not sure why Tori thought I would like a naked baby as a gift, but it was her way of showing kindness, that she liked my class, that she thought I was an OK person. I treasure that. She was never afraid to show who she was and I admired that. Her very close friends are just as quirky as she was, and I will think of her every time I see them. And also every time I see those naked babies she offered me in class. She was a one of a kind person, with a giant heart. I'm so happy that I was able to get to know her. 

Tori and I met early 6th grade. We did choir together, theater, cosplayed, and binged watched anime together. I think one of our most memorable nights though was a Halloween party I had in 2019. She dressed as James Charles and it was a laughing fit between the both of us. She helped with my hair and makeup when it didn't turn out right, we took pictures in the woods, handed out candy and made pudding cups, where she took half the bag of gummy worms. I'll miss you greatly Victoria. Rest well. Sending my thoughts and prayers to everyone grieving❤

Our darling granddaughter, Victoria, was full of life! She was funny, kind, sweet, compassionate, caring, creative, and fun! We all wish she could see the impact she had on the lives of everyone she met. Her physical presence will be sorely missed, but her spirit and soul will remain in our hearts forever!

Tori was not only a best friend but a sister I’ve always wanted. When I was in my darkest time I could always turn to her and would always forget why I was sad. She showed me life is a great treasure and I will surely live to her words. 

I once made a promise that would end up changing my life. "The next new kid that comes to our school, I will try to make friends with them!" This simple promise ending up leading me to Victoria. We were only a few houses away and our neighborhood group was inseparable. We had the best time spent together, whether it be at the park, school, or one of our houses. The Padilla's became my second home and they always will be family to me. I remember all of the birthday parties to all the holidays. Victoria shaped me into who I am now. We laughed and played up until I left 7th grade. We kept in touch and I visited a few times. I will always cherish and hold our memories close. Victoria you will always be loved and remembered. You shaped me into a better person and gave me the strength to go through school and all of my hard times.  You will be missed! Fly high and rest in peace. 

I was not fortunate to meet Tori , her brother and parents.  I have  the pleasure of knowing her wonderful caring grandparents and aunt, Jorge, Susana and Lori. I cannot imagine what the family is going through.  A loss like this is very difficult to bear.  I offer my dear friends and family my thoughts of strength, courage, and peace to carry through the days ahead.

i met tori through a mutual friend around 6 years ago, and from the moment i met her she was nothing but kind and warm and welcoming towards me and everyone around her. everyone who has ever known her knows how incredible of a person she was, and she’s impacted the lives of so many (including mine). i will forever cherish the memories we made together, and will always remember her <3

I had freshman year English class with Tori in 2018. She was so sweet, smart, funny, and friendly. She always participated in class & answered almost every question. She was always willing to read out loud to the class because nobody else wanted to. Although I was never close to Tori, I was close friends with her twin brother Michael sophomore year. My heart goes out to Michael, her parents, extended family, classmates, teachers, and friends. May she Rest In Peace & never be forgotten. Tori and I had a few classes together throughout high school. she was always super smart and kind hearted. We had chorus together and she had a great voice. We talked our freshman and sophomore year and I would always talk her ear off in chorus. She was always nothing but kind and sweet when we talked. she brought so much joy and brightness to everyone around her 

Tori was the first new friend I had made in high school. Day one, freshman year, we clicked and were good friends since. She really was one of a kind, from her bright hair colors and rainbow shoes to her smile and the way she accepted and loved everyone for every part of them. I love and miss her, and send my love to her family and closest friends. 

Victoria, you were and still are a bright shining star.  Gone way too early.  You have impacted so many lives.  You are missed dearly.

Tori was one of my closest friends. She was always so kind and supportive and she’s impacted so many people in such positive ways. I’ll never forget our many adventures and laughs. I love you so much.

Tori was my bestfriend. We talked about everything together and we were so close. That was the closest friendship I’ve ever had. I will miss her so much, I love her and I will be a better person for her and make her happy. This picture is my favorite picture and my phone Lock Screen. This was the day of her graduation.
