Thomas Wade Johnson

He is lovingly remembered by his wife: Cheryl Barnes Johnson; children: Haydn Graham Wade Johnson, Kayleigh Rose Johnson, David Sutton, Alex Barnes and Amber Barnes, along with her children Ayden, Anthony and Axel; by his parents: Carolyn Churchill Johnson and John “Fred” Johnson, of Elkin; brother: Eric and Linda Johnson and their children, Jamie, Dustin and Melissa, of Rocky Mount, sisters: Kim and Keith Lawrence and their children, Tyler, Savana, Ryan and Macon, of Apex and Pamela and Gary Kovach and son Devlin, of Bear Creek; by several aunts, numerous cousins and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Percy and Bessie Churchill and Wade and Betsy Rose Johnson.

Family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 pm at Apex Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 3 PM at Martha’s Chapel Christian Church (2811 Martha’s Chapel Road), with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
