Tom was a fine man and good friend and taught me some of the finer points of southern BBQ.  Tom was the confirmation mentor for both of my sons, for which we have always been grateful.  He cared about them dearly and helped us to mold them both into the fine young men thay are.  His good cheer and kind heart will be sorely missed.

Cut was a wonderful neighbor and true friend. My husband, children, and I  were very blessed to have he and his wife, Christine, to live beside us for over 10 years on Marilyn Circle in Cary. They were the best neighbors anyone could ever ask for as they loved our family like we were their own. They didn't just talk the Christian talk, they walked the Christian walk wholeheartedly. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.  Tom was very special to both of us.  He was a mentor to my husband when he started working at the community college system.  He had become a "second father" to both of us and we will miss him more than words can express.
