Dear Hilda, Tim, Lori & Family: There are times when the right words just don't exist, and now is one of those times. Our hearts were broken to hear of Stewart's passing.  It has been said that "death leaves a heartache that no one can heal, but LOVE leaves a memory no one can steal"...and he unconditionally loved his family.  His kind heart, humble spirit, hard work ethic & love for each of you is a wonderful legacy that you can embrace & pass on to the next generation.  May God surround you with HIS peace, HIS love & HIS strength as you go through this difficult time. We love you all.

Dear Hilda, Tim, Lori and Family,
We share in your grief over the loss of Stewart. He was a man we both admired and loved. We admired him because he was a humble man, honest and sincere. He was a man of great integrity with a work ethic few will ever know. Hilda, the two of you shared so much in your
58 years together. You started a family and a family business together. While Stewart excelled as a businessman, his real devotion was to his family. They say behind every good man is a good woman and that describes their relationship. He adored his wife, you could tell by the way he looked at her. However, his love for his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren went to a
different level. He was so very proud of each of you. This kind of love never goes away with time.  The memories your family has created will be etched in your minds.  Now, it is up to his family and his friends to ensure that his Legacy is passed down, so that even the youngest will know what a truly great man he was.  Stewart's life will not be defined by his illness, for that was just a small part of his life.  Rather, we should remember his strength and courage and his unending love for you all.  We will always remember that smile that was always on his face whenever we saw him.  Love to you all and will be praying for your strength in the days ahead.

Dear Stewart, 

Thanks for being a part of my life since the mid 2000's. You always showed me love and respect during the days when your son and I were struggling to become "adults".  Your gentle nature and even temperament helped immensely during those troubling days. How you carried yourself and reacted was much more impactful than any words you could have said. You showed us encouragement and support and patience during those times. By not being critical and judgemental you gave us an opportunity to find our way as adults, which led us to the successful path of life we both enjoy today.

We got to celebrate life on the other side of drama for many years to come and I always enjoyed our times together during family celebrations. 

Our family lost my father in 2005. I never directly said this to you, but I adopted you as my "Pop" the day we met.

So glad we had our "Seasons In The Sun" 
Rest easy, I love you.
