A Memorial visitation for Gaye will be held Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 11:00 - 1:00pm at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W Williams St, Apex, NC 27502.
Gaye was born January 18,1945 to Herbert and Ada Mae Garris of Elizabeth City, Virginia.
Gaye is survived by Eddy Adams of Clayton, son, Patrick Adams and wife, April Adams of Apex and granddaughter, Ashtyn Adams of Apex.
She was a loving, caring and a compassionate individual. She loved life, God and loved to be loved. Gaye was also a career educator. She started off as a business teacher and chose to become a Guidance Counselor where she eventually retired from Cary High School. She went on from there facilitating State Testing all over North Carolina. Gaye’s son was also something very special to her. She had an extraordinary everlasting love for her son. She also had the biggest heart for all animals, especially dogs! Her dog and her son were her world.
