Sharon Ann Ellico

Sharon Ann Ellico (Fogle), 75, of Cary, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Sharon was born to Lester P. Fogle and Isabel B. Fogle (Cullen) on October 14, 1936 in Bay City, MI. She earned a degree in Dental Hygiene from Delta College and practiced for several years in Michigan. Sharon married David R. Ellico on January 13, 1956 in Mt. Pleasant, MI. They were married for 31 years.

Sharon was actively involved at the Cary Senior Center with Sewing, Red Hats, and the Book Club. She enjoyed her time at Heritage Pines playing dominos and cards, exercise class and many other activities.

She is preceded in death by her son, Scott, and her parents.

Sharon is survived by her daughters: Ann Ellico and Ron Jones of Greenup, IL, Patti Christopherson and husband, Mark of Cary, and Cathy Ellico of Reston, VA; grandsons: Scott and Matthew Christopherson . She is also survived by a brother, Dale Fogle of MI.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex. A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, December 16, 2011 in the Chapel of Apex Funeral Home. Burial will be in Floral Gardens, Bay City, MI.
