Ronald Anthony Caputo

Ronny was born October 9, 1946 in Flushing, NY to the late Maurice and Irene Marra Caputo.

Ronny was a quiet guy with a dry and witty sense of humor and an adorable smirk to always be remembered. The bond Ronny and his wife Mary Ann shared was exceptional to everyone that knew them, theirs was a love of a lifetime. The respect, love and admiration with his two children was reciprocated tenfold. Ronny was so proud of his seven grandchildren. The abundance of love and laughter they shared with their Papa will be cherished forever. The mark that this special man made in the lives of his extended family and friends will never be forgotten.

Ronny is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Ann Caputo; daughter, Gina Demeri (Russell); son, Ronald A. Caputo, Jr. (Randi); sister, Debra Speranza; and seven grandchildren, Marissa, Samantha, Lauren, Owen, Jake, Nicholas, and Jayme.

The family will receive friends between 1pm - 6pm Monday, August 22, 2022 at Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC 27502. Burial will follow at Mount Saint Mary Cemetery in Flushing, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Tunnel to Towers or a charity of your choice.
