Robert Michael Ross

Michael was born on August 16, 1936 in Covington, Kentucky to the late Robert Howard Ross and Jeanette Ross (Rice). Michael was Director of Line Maintenance for Piedmont Airlines for many years and retained an avid interest in aircraft throughout his lifetime. After his retirement from the airlines, he enjoyed many years working in security for various companies. He was a veteran and served eight years in the Air Force. Above all else, Michael loved his family. His Catholic faith was also a centerpiece of his life and he remained dedicated to his faith throughout his lifetime.

Michael was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife, Jane Ross; his children, Sean Ross, Andrew Ross and Lisa Rhineheart Ross. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Kelly, and is also survived by his brother, Patrick, his wife, Susan, and sister Janet. Michael also leaves behind much loved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Due to safety concerns for family and friends, and Covid-19 restrictions, a memorial service will take place at a later date.
