Richard Wray Council

A devoted son, husband and father Richard is survived by his mother, Sarah Bryson Council, his wife Delecia Kantz Council and his sons, Brody and Tanner Council. Richard enjoyed many memorable days on the farm with his boys teaching them to care for all God's creatures and time spent at the serene pond.

Also surviving are a sister, Lynette C. Edwards and husband, Ronnie.

The family will receive friends 6-8pm Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St, Apex, NC 27502. A Funeral Service will be held 2pm Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Green Level Baptist Church, 8509 Green Level Church Road, Cary, NC 27519.

Richard will be laid to rest beside his beloved Father, Billy Wray Council in the church cemetery following the service.

Richard leaves a legacy for those who were blessed to have known his kind, caring and unselfish soul. His legacy lives on, his love of the farm, and his labor is done and we will close the gate.
