Rebecca was born October 2, 1943 to the late Ira Lee and Virginia Dare Stephens.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Nevin, Jr., and her sons, Alex and Chris Gilliam.
She is survived by her daughter Angela Gilliam of Scottsdale, AZ and her son Kent Gilliam and his wife Gina of Apex.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Rebecca will be held in the Chapel of Salem Baptist Church in Apex on Monday, March 16 at 1 pm.
