Peggy Stephens Pendergraft

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Mrs. Pendergraft was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Donald Pendergraft and wife, Linda; 2 grandchildren, Melinda and Donna (Kevin); 2 great grandchildren, Alex and Mariah all of Apex; sisters, Jean Hunt and husband, Lynwood of Garner; and Linda Ferrell of Timberlake, NC.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne; daughter, Deborah; parents, McDonald and Rosa Stephens; brothers, Bobby and Billy Stephens; and sister, Lilly Mae.

A funeral service will be held 3 pm Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams Street, Apex, NC, 27502, with Rev. Lalon Barnes officiating. Burial will follow the service at Apex Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-3 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
