Nevin is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Gilliam; daughter, Angela Gilliam of Scottsdale, AZ; sons Kent Gilliam and his wife Gina of Apex, NC; and Chris Gilliam of the home. He is also survived by seven brothers and sisters; many loving nieces and nephews; and his very special K-9 buddy, Rufus.
Nevin is predeceased by his son, Alex Gilliam.
Services will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 2:00 pm from the chapel at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St., Apex, NC 27502. Burial will immediately follow at the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Apex Funeral Home from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, immediately prior to the service.
Flowers are acceptable or memorial contributions may be made in Nevin’s name to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
