Nancy H. Stephenson, beloved mother and sister, died Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Oaks of Mayview in Raleigh after a short illness.
Nancy was born June 2, 1923 in Waynesville, NC to the late William and Mary Inez Haney. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William F. Stephenson.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandy Thomas (husband Dave) and Meridith Heckmann (husband Zack), and sister Ann Haney.
Nancy was a member of North Raleigh Church of Christ.
A Funeral Service will be held 3pm Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Apex Funeral Home Chapel, 550 W. Williams Street, Apex, NC 27502. Burial will follow the service at Wake Memorial Park in Cary. The family will receive friends 2-3pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
