Lynda Ann Yadack

Lynda Ann Yadack, age 79, of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023. Lynda was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania to Valera and John Zakutny in 1943, then relocated to Albany N.Y. In July 1965, she married Robert "Bob" Yadack, and raised their daughter, Rhonda.

She graduated from Colonie Central High School and Mildred Elley Business School. Prior to moving to N.C., Lynda was employed by the State of New York as an Executive Assistant and operated her own cleaning services business.

Lynda was an avid world traveler, while being a fabulous cook and baker in her culinary nook. Her young-hearted spirit made her a friend to all on every cruise ship voyage and at every butcher counter. She was an active member at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church in Fuquay-Varina, where she participated in the knitting guild. Other pursuits include camping for 45+ years, bike riding, gardening, sewing and spending lots of time in the water with her family and grandchildren.

Lynda is pre-deceased by her parents, John & Valera Zakutny, and brother Jack Zakutny. She is survived by her husband Bob, daughter Rhonda (Lloyd), and grandchildren Grayson and Margo.

She was well loved and will be greatly missed by all.

Visitation will be held at 2pm followed by a memorial service for family and friends at 3 PM on January 21st, 2023 at Apex Funeral Home.

Flowers or charitable donations (i.e. American Heart Association; Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) are welcomed.
