Louis Paul Trosch, age 89, of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023. Born on March 31, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois; he was one of five children of the late Charles Trosch and Bernice Brassard Trosch.
Louis grew up in Oak Park, Illinois. He graduated from Fenwick High School, where he met his sweetheart, Anne Roti in 1952. He went onto receive a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois. Louis and Anne married in June of 1955 and raised their four children in Oak Park, Illinois and Pompano Beach, Florida.
He enjoyed boating, auto racing, was a Formula II National Champion and pilot. He had a special place in his heart for animals and sorely missed his faithful companions, Beau and Sissy. Most of all, Louis loved his family and time spent together.
He is survived by his wife, Anne; children: Susan, Charles (Holly), Michael (Sara) and Melissa (John); grandchildren: Stephen (Christie), Rebecca, Kaitlin, Andrew, Alexandra, Eric and Paul; great-granddaughter: Emily; and other extended family and friends, including Buddy, his Maltipoo.
Private Family Viewing will be held at Apex Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Cary, North Carolina.
