Linda Kay Brenneman

Linda was born March 21, 1942 in Mansfield, OH to the late George and Helen Leapley Steffey. She was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and attended Kent State University. She was employed as a tax clerk with Golden Corral for over 30 years. Linda was an active member of Salem Baptist Church in Apex.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Jack Brenneman.

Linda is survived by her son, Timothy Brenneman, and daughter-in-law, Kelly of Raleigh; step-sons Jeffrey Brenneman of Hillsborough and Alan Brenneman of Ansonia, CT; step-daughter, Daryl Patrick of Shelton, CT; daughter-in-law, Sarah Brenneman of Hillsborough; brother, Daniel Steffey, and sister-in-law, Lynn, of Stow, OH; brother-in-law, Larry Brenneman of Apex; sister-in-law, Kay Simon of Perrysville, OH; eight grandchildren, Heather Moura of Shelton, CT, Ronald and Richard Patrick of Front Royal, VA, Keith Patrick of Greenville, Jaysun Brenneman of Maggie Valley, Sean Brenneman of Raleigh, Elizabeth Brenneman of Raleigh, Korey Brenneman of Hillsborough; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held 12 noon on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Salem Baptist Church, 1821 N. Salem Street, Apex, NC 27523. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-8pm Friday, July 22, 2016 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St, Apex, NC 27502.
