Larry Hollis, 77, was born in Greenville, S. C., and mostly raised in Jamestown, N.C. Skipping forward from a happy childhood, and fulfilling life as a husband and Daddo, he chose Resurrection Day to join his Lord and Savior, while sleeping peacefully. The first truly peaceful sleep in 4 hard years for him. He left a beautiful legacy of love to all his friends, and his family. Deborah his wife, Christie, Jennifer and Leslie, his daughters, and their spouses. Kadyn, Hollis, Harper, Jack, Alex and Ella, grandchildren, all of whom he adored. He adored his canine buddy, Ayla, who is still struggling without him. And, extended family members, and friends. Even in the difficult times, Larry put others first. Always. We appreciated all the tremendous love and support that was returned to this man, especially the last 4 difficult years. He always had a smile and encouraging words for every person. Larry loved being a sidewalk greeter, and was usually the last person to leave his church after a service on Sunday:-) Thank you Larry, for all the beautiful memories we cherish... We will be with you soon, and see you walking again, which you said WOULD happen. We should all strive to live such a full life, and in the end to be able to hear what you are now hearing "well done, good and faithful servant" directly from our God. We ALL still feel your presence in our lives.....
