"JT" was born October 20, 1992 in Carmel, NY. He was a graduate of Middle Creek High School and Barton College where he pursued his passion on the baseball teams. JT was a veteran of the US Army and was employed with the town of Holly Springs.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Judith Clark.
JT is survived by his parents, Brad and Cindy Dougherty Bunce; daughter, Darby Miles Bunce; brother, Andrew Bunce; sister, Stacey Bunce; grandparents, Thomas Dougherty, Bernard and Joyce Bunce, and Julia Bunce.
A funeral service will be held 10am Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Hope Community Church, 821 Buck Jones Rd., Raleigh, NC 27606. Burial will follow the service at Sandhills State Veteran's Cemetery in Spring Lake, NC. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Monday, July 19, 2021 at the church.
