Irene Sue Goslaw

Irene Sue Goslaw, age 77, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on Tuesday afternoon, December 19, 2023. Born on October 5, 1946 in East Liverpool, Ohio; she was the daughter of the late Dorrie Kidder and Leona Palmer Kidder.

Irene had an infectious smile and laughter that brightened up any room she entered. She absolutely loved working with flowers but her true passion was celebrating anything possible for her family. Whether it was someone’s birthday, a holiday, a school event, or a random achievement-she threw a party. She had a special plate that she would use to honor someone that read, “You Are Special Today.” She was so intent on making everyone feel special she had to get another plate when Brad became a part of the family and shared the same birthday as Kimberly. Irene showered everyone with love. She was the life of the party.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband: Orval William Goslaw; children: Kimberly, Pat, Shelley, Brad, David, Amy, Steve, Kim, Becky, and Jeff; grandchildren: Johnny, Chandler, Tyler, Sarah, Fischer, Abby, Hunter, Garrett, Becca, Brittany, Rachel, Becca, Samantha, Greg, Chris, Freya, and Madison; great- grandchildren: Autumn Rose, John Patric, Jensen Dale, Owen, Carlee, Hudson, Harper, Garison, Griffin, and Rowan; and siblings: Kermit, Joyce, Darlene, Bob, and Beverly. She was preceded in death by her brother: Earl.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 23, 2023 from 10:00 am-11:00 am at Mid-Way Baptist Church, with a Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 am. Flowers are most certainly welcomed however memorial contributions may be made in Irene’s Memory to the Missions Ministry at Mid-Way Baptist Church.
