Evelyn was born February 25, 1924 to the late Emily Windom and George William Luther Cooper. She was a longtime member of New Life Church in Cary.
She was preceded in death by her husband and son, George.
She is survived by her daughter, Millie E. Pearson (Donald); sons, Robert Craven and Keith Craven (Joan); four grandchildren, Donald and Jonathan Pearson, Emily and Katy Craven; and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2pm Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams Street, Apex, NC 27502. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Life Church, 111 Towerview Court, Cary, NC 27513.
