Elizabeth Rogers Covington

Lib was born September 18, 1926 in Apex, North Carolina to late Thomas George Rogers and Emma Little Rogers. She was a graduate of Apex High School and University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Lib was a long time member of Apex United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her husband, Henry Meteaux Covington.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Elizabeth de la Marre and Jeffrey Noble of Dallas, TX and Susan Kirks; son, Kemper and his wife, Edith Covington; niece, Virginia Covington; nephew, Kemper Covington IV and his daughters, Kylie and Madison; Jim and Cheryl Bennett of Apex; Paul Little of Wadesboro, North Carolina; Joann and Jim Little of Haymarket, VA; and numerous friends and former students.

A graveside service will be held at 12pm Friday, November 13, 2020 at Apex Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Apex United Methodist Church Memorial Gardens.
