Donn Renick Bode

Donn Renick Bode, of Cary, North Carolina, 81, passed peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, November 18, 2024. Born in Milwaukee, WI on November 20, 1942 to the late Robert and Anne Renick Bode. Beloved husband of 47 years to Annette (Volkaitis). Loving father of Dawn (Dave) Oyler, Heather (Tony) Radtke, Alyson Bode, Lauren (Garrett) Pearl. Papa/Pops to Carson (Anya) Radtke, Caylin Radtke, Alexa Pearl, Ella Pearl, and Henry Bode Bookhout. Further survived by sisters Sue Jones, Lynne (Dave) White, David (Dana) Bode, sisters-in-law Kathleen Citko, Marilyn (Skip) Aki, and the late Beverly Chosa, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Donn attended Whitefish Bay High School and the University of Wisconsin. He was a Cartographer/GIS Specialist for 34 years with the U.S. Forest Service and U.S. Bureau of Land Management. He was an avid golfer and fisherman, loved football, baseball, and traveling.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Chapel of the Angels, 3801 W. Morgan Avenue, Milwaukee, WI from 10AM to 12PM. Inurnment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Donn’s name to Covenant House which provides immediate and long term support for young people facing homelessness and survivors of trafficking.
