Diane has been my Big Sister ever since I met her when I was 8yrs. old. She was always smiling and when she came to visit I would get so excited I would run out to meet her and then beg her to take me for a ride with the lid off! That was my term for her Convertible MG. Through out my life she was always there for me. I love her so much and will miss her greatly. You will always be with me Sister. Love Pat. ❤️

My Aunt Diane is 1 of a few strategically important people from my childhood. Many holidays in Livermore 
CA were spent at her house. I could usually find her in the kitchen or if she had a pause would be in the sitting room away from the bustle of the living room deep in conversation. 
I'd ask to help in the kitchen if possible sometimes or join in the conversation with the adults. Now there's a key, you see I had an abusive step-father that called me stupid or dumb on a regular basis.  But My Aunt Diane helped me acknowledge and accept the truth of my intellect. She'd constantly said otherwise. 
Later on I'd found out about my standardized test scores from 4th grade the year before. She'd always told me how smart I am so I brought it up in conversation. 
I was so excited that I had high school and above scores! After that conversation I was no longer the quiet kid in class much to some high school teachers detriment.
My Aunt Diane helped shape the person I am today. Someone whom constantly exercises their mind in some way, and to the benefit of others when the need occurs.  
My love goes out to you all that read this as she's touched you profoundly in some way I do not doubt.

So very sorry for the family and close friends of Diane. Jerry, Frank and Teresa, it has been a very long time since I have seen you but I do remember many fun times with all of you. Diane left a big impression on me and she always impressed me with her confidence and accomplishments. She was especially proud of her husband and children and grandchildren. I knew Diane through her daughter, Teresa. I have many fond memories of Diane and Jerry camping with all of us when our children were growing up. She loved her family and wanted to see her children and grandchildren succeed. She could be stern when needed, she enjoyed a good political debate and she was a strong woman we could look up to. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and taking trips with them. They will all have beautiful and fond memories of their time together. My last memory of Diane was when we met last February for Teresa’s birthday dinner. She talked about cars she had in the past, she enjoyed driving fast cars! I remember thinking Diane was a woman who was strong, worked hard and that I envisioned paved the way for her daughter and others who followed. 

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and I know she will be watching over her loved ones the rest of their days.
