David Wray Yates, 53, passed away November 11, 2015. Born on September 7, 1962 at Rex Hospital, David was a life-long resident of Apex. He was the son of the late Thomas and Dixie Pendergraph Yates and brother of the late Gary Wrenn.
He is lovingly remembered by his sister: Julie Wrenn Ray, of Durham; his nieces: Kim Seagroves Murphy and husband Shawn, of Franklinton and Kay Ray, of Durham; his great-niece: Emily Murphy; his special aunt: Kay Yates, of Green Level; and by other family and friends.
A Memorial Service, officiated by Pastor Ray Wickham of New Horizon's Fellowship, will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 6 pm at Apex Funeral Home, with receiving to follow. Memorial Donation are preferred to the Apex Rescue Squad through the Apex Community Auxiliary - P.O. Box 765 - Apex, NC. 27502.
