Cat was born September 9, 1951 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC to the late Joseph and Hazel Rich.
Cat spent her life rejoicing with friends and family; she was known as Cathy, Cat, CeCe and Mom. She spent her time helping others in their time of need whether it be a hot home cooked meal or doing for others without question.
Her most prized memories are being "CeCe" to her precious grandchildren.
Cat is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Hazel (Medlin) Rich; brother, Joseph Rich Jr.
Cat is survived by her beloved son, Tony and his wife, Michelle; granddaughter, Taylor and 2 grandsons, Brody and Harrison; her brother, Jackie Rich. Cat is also survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 10:00am - 11:30am at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St. Apex, NC 27502. There will be a Celebration of Cathy's life from 11:30am - 12:00pm in the Chapel.
