Bruce William Behnke

On September 17, 2023 Bruce William Behnke died peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Although his passing was quiet, his life was not. He was born on July 3, 1954 and graduated from Brillion High School, Wisconsin in 1972. Bruce was always looking for a new adventure, whether it was hitchhiking cross country or taking on a new career, he was always creative with his life choices.

Despite moving from coast to coast, he remained a loyal Packer fan. His love of all things Batman was legendary and reflected in his vast collection of Batman memorabilia. Bruce was always the life of the party, saw humor in the most mundane daily activities and was a loyal friend.

Preceding Bruce in death is his parents, Wilbert (Bill) and Mary Kathryn Behnke and son-in-law, Lee Rodgers.

Bruce leaves behind his loving wife, Jessa and his children, Corey (Rachel McCutchen) Behnke, Sonia Behnke and Heath Behnke. His grandchildren, Tyler and Mia Rodgers, his siblings Nanci (Carl) Micke and Kim (Randy) Becker, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his first wife, Debbie Behnke.

You are finally pain-free Bruce, may your big heart and soul soar with the eagles.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
