Yvonne Jean Jenson

Yvonne was our best friend, a dedicated prayer warrior, and was always caring for others. She loved meeting new people and connecting with friends - she was a great listener. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed beautiful flowers. She loved sharing her faith in Jesus and passed out "Living Faith" devotionals to everyone she encountered. Yvonne was proud of her grandchildren's achievements and loved sharing about Jenson's Store on Main Street in Anoka, where she met her husband of 64 years, the love of her life.

Yvonne was consistent in praying for customers and staff at Jenson's - we are convinced He heard each prayer. She loved her family's Swedish heritage. She was also a devoted member at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Anoka, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wahkon, MN.

She is preceded in passing by her beloved husband, Morris Jenson; daughters-in-law, Beverly and Debra; grandson, Patrick; sisters, Maxine and Hilma; brothers, Jake and Keith; and parents, John and Clara.

Yvonne is survived by her children, Sheryl, Mike, Tom (Maria), Steve (Deanna), Theresa (Dave) Jaeger, Mary; grandchildren, Jerrick, Jessica, Monica, Logan, Nic, Samantha, Eric, Stephanie, Brandon, Sean, Melissa; 17 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Carol; many nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 18, 2024, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson St, Anoka. Visitation at 10:00 am, service at 11:00 am, and luncheon to follow. Private Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Anoka.
