He is preceded in passing by his parents, Louis and Nora Gantter; and his sister, Nancy Turner.
William is survived by his children, Tara, Shawn, and Todd Gantter; grandchildren, Grant Higgins and Wilson Cole; and many other family members and friends.
Please join us to celebrate William's life at 11:30 am on May 22, 2025, at Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel, 1 Tower Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55450. Burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery will follow at 1:30 pm. Please meet us in Assembly Area #6 by 1:15 pm.
