Preceded in death by wife, Eileen; parents, Mabel and Clarence Ostby, whom he cherished.
Survived by daughters, Renee Knowlton, Cindy (Paul) Jacobson, Karen (Steve) Patchen; grandchildren, Brad (Mikandra) Patchen, Molly (Jeremy) Mudick; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Maya, Hannah, Alyssa, Kallie, Lily, Mason; cousins, Nancy (Dick) Hedger, Mavonne Thomasberg, Dick Ostby, Daryl Ostby; other relatives and friends.
Bob loved woodcarving and stained glass. He enjoyed the Senior Center "Senior's Off Their Rockers" and working at CR Recycling Center.
Memorial service 11 AM, March 25, 2013, Faith Lutheran Church, 11115 Hanson Boulevard Northwest, Coon Rapids with visitation one hour prior. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
