She was the daughter of Victor and Ellen Lindquist and was born March 31, 1935 in Minneapolis, MN. She was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church on April 6, 1941. She received her education at Columbia Heights Senior High School - Class of 1953.
Marilyn married Richard on June 27, 1953. Together they raised 7 children: Rick, Ron, Randy, Russ, Rob, Rory, and Julie.
Marilyn worked as a Homemaker taking care of her children for many many years. She enjoyed cheering on the Minnesota Vikings, visiting northern Minnesota, especially Nisswa, MN, having coffee with neighbors, and going out to eat with her very close friends. She was a huge supporter of her grandkid’s activities from horse shows, dance recitals, baseball, hockey, football games, and many birthday parties. She especially loved spending quality time with her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends. She enjoyed munching on her favorite snacks such as shamrock shakes and White Castle sliders.
Marilyn is survived by her brother Larry (Pat); children Rick, Ron, Randy, Rob (Sherri), Rory (Jennie), Julie Parlow-Froiland, 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father Victor, mother Ellen, husband Richard and son Russ. Funeral services will take place at Gearhart Funeral Home, 522 East River Road Anoka, MN. 55303 on Friday April 29, 2022 at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to services.
