Juanita Marie Sommerfeld

Juanita was born in Philadelphia, PA to John and Ruth Bade. She graduated from Lisbon High School in 1971. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Minnesota where she went to college, started her career, and made her life, together with Leo (Joachim). Together, they traveled and enjoyed their camp in northern Minnesota. She was an avid wine drinker. She loved cooking and gardening. Her flowers were her favorite. She loved her cat Mietzi.

She is preceded in passing by her parents; her husband, Leo (Joachim); brother, Michael Bade; nephew, Christopher Bade; great nephew, Drake Bade; stepson, Ari Sommerfeld.

Juanita is survived by her brother, John Bade Jr.; nieces, Sarah Bade, Lisa Bade, and Michelle Bade; nephew, Michael Bade; great nephews, Jared Black, Spencer Bade, and Timothy Getchell; great nieces, Naomi Getchell and Elizabeth Bade; and her stepson, Aaron Sommerfeld.

Service to be held at a later date in Sabattus, Maine.
