He is preceded in passing by his parents, Pearl and Olis Shugren.
John's legacy will live on through his beloved wife of 58 years, Diane; daughters, Terri (Greg) Twedt, and Melissa Crowley; grandchildren, Nicole and Brandon (Tara) Roster, and Elizabeth Twedt; great-grandchildren, Destiny Kromah, Karisa and Khloe Tetens; and other family members and friends.
John enjoyed fishing, camping, nature, and NASCAR. He was a member of the Elevator Constructor's Union, Local 9, and worked with them for almost 40 years. He will be remembered for his quick wit, sarcasm, loving and protective ways, and willingness to help others. He will be deeply missed.
There will not be a formal service per John's request. The family requests no memorials to be sent at this time. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared below for the Shugren family.
