Born in Maddock, ND, Don was the son of Sigurd and Olga Larson. He graduated from Augsburg College He was employed as a paint chemist for over 40 years.
Don enjoyed teaching confirmation classes, coaching Bible quizzing, leading in Royal Rangers and many years as a greeter, most recently at Constance. He will be remembered as providing an example to his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of what a Godly man, father and husband looks like. He has left a strong legacy.
Don will be deeply missed by his wife of 65 years Eunice (UC); sons Gary (Beth), Keith, Wayne (Brenda), Brad (Julie), Dan (Sandy), Mark (Jill); 19 grandchildren; Jeff (Grace) and Jon (Christy), Ryan (Megh), Brad and Patrick (Kendall), Josh, Caleb, Drew and Abby, Brandon (Kayla) and Brock (Katie), Jennifer (Josh), David, Nathan (Brianna) and Grant, Jes (Chris) and Nykeigh, Corey and Taylor; and 13 great-grandchildren; siblings Donna, Wally, Warren, Connie; and many other relatives and friends. Don is preceded in death by parents Sigurd, Olga and Gudrun; daughter Barbara Long; siblings Ordean and Shirley.
