William Edward Weldon, age 95, of Anniston, Alabama passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023.
William is survived by his two daughters and grandchildren and numerous other family members.
William is preceded in death by his parents and Colin McKenzie Weldon.
William's Army career began November 1945 and he retired Master Sergeant in August 1975 as Chief Enlisted Advisor Field Artillery Team.
He was sent to Europe during the aftermath of WW2. He was in Korea during the entire conflict and in Vietnam as a MSG and Advisor.
Upon retirement the Army Officer stated "Master Sergeant Weldons outstanding achievements and devotion to duty are in keeping with the highest traditions of the military service and reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Army."
His wife and family were and are very proud of his service!
William was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
