Virginia Lucille Trapp

Funeral services for Virginia Lucille Trapp will be 1 pm Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Pastor William Trapp and Minister Willie Christopher officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Cemetery in Bynum. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 - 1 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Trapp passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at her residence.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Johnson and her husband Kennie, her son William Trapp and his wife Delores, grandchildren; Stephanie Dearman (Neil), Shane Trapp (Angela), Scottie Boone (Barbie), Kimberly Boone, Crystal House (Brian), Willie Christopher (Mary), Doni Gaddy (Michael) and Roger Moore (Meghann), great grandchildren; Lane Trapp, Emily Trapp, Caitlin Boone, Will House, Lucas House, Sydney Woodrow (Trevor), Shelby Cain, Aiden Christopher, Chloe Vice, Jillian Henderson, William Gaddy (Carlina), Maddison Gaddy, Tyler Moore, Alexis Moore and Olivia Moore, great great grandchildren, Parker Woodrow and Pacey Woodrow and nieces and nephews.

Mra. Trapp is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, William O. Trapp Jr., daughter, Denise Trapp, parents Robert Pruett and Mary Smith, great granddaughter, Angel Parker, two brothers and four sisters.

Pallbearers will be William Gaddy, Shane Trapp, Michael Gaddy, Neil Dearman, Brian House, Will House and Trevor Woodrow.

Mrs. Trapp was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. She was a very active member of The Church of God of West Anniston. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and painting her ceramics. Mrs. Trapp was a wonderful, caring, and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother who will be dearly missed.
