Thomas Edward Webb

Funeral service for Thomas Edward “Eddie” Webb will be 11 am Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Dr. Bill Snow officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Webb passed away on October 7, 2016 in Birmingham.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Debbie Webb, daughter, Tammy Swindall (Daniel), sons, Jason Webb (Fallon) and Thomas James Webb, grandchildren, Anelizabeth Davidson (Nick), Jordan Whaley (Alex), Caty Swindall (Josh), Danna-Leigh Swindall, Fletcher Swindall, Christian Webb, Rebekah Faith Webb, Gabrial Webb and Zoe Carroll, great grandchildren, Jay Whaley, Coleson Whaley and Hadleigh Grace Davidson.

Mr. Webb is preceded in death by his parents James Jordan Webb and Ruth McCarley Webb, two brothers, Jerry Lee Webb and Vernon Lamar Webb.

Pallbearers will be Willie Giddens, Doug Giddens, Judson Blewster, Gene Segrest, Fletcher Swindall, Christian Webb, Gabriel Webb and Jeremy Webb.

Mr. Webb was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Mr. Webb was a graduate of Alexandria High School Class of 1962 where he was a lifelong supporter of the Valley Cubs. He was an avid Alabama fan. Mr. Webb retired from United Defense. He loved his family dearly and loved to tell stories and he always had a smile on his face.
