Celebration of Life service for Susan Beth Albea Golden, 59, from Anniston, Alabama will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
Mrs. Golden is survived by her husband, Philip Golden; sisters, Sylvia Albea of Oxford and Deborah “Debby” Albea of Anniston; sisters-in-law, Rose (Col. Joe) Schlatter, of Virginia and Sandra McPeake, of Tennessee, Nancy Golden as well as beloved nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Golden is preceded in death by her parents, A.P. Albea and Helen King Albea and her beloved nephew, Shane Grizzard.
Susan was a clinical laboratory technician by profession, a graduate of Jacksonville State University with a double major in Biology and Zoology. She was passionate about caring for the environment and had a deep love for animals and for traveling. Susan grew up in Bynum, graduated from Walter Wellborn High School in 1977, and was a member of Bynum Baptist Church.
