Stewart is survived by his sisters Diane Dean and Linda Gunnoe, and his brother Keith Adams; his children Bambi Moore, Shanda Turner, James Willis, Westly Woodard, Brittany Ledbetter, Cory Adams,and Dennis Adams, his grandchildren Trinity Copland, Cora Copland, Talor Moore, Haily Moore and Clark Adams and several nieces and nephews.
Stewart was preceded in death by his parents James and Cora Adams; his sister Shirley Adams; his brother David Adams; his sister Gloria Martin and his sister Brenda Dickover.
A visitation for Stewart will be held Sunday, December 17, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Salt Creek Baptist Church, Munford, AL, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at the adjacent church cemetery.
Stewart was a loving, kind and gentle soul. He adored babies and loved to spend time with his family. He enjoyed spending his spare time fishing and hunting. He was a resilient man and never wanted to give up on a fight especially when it came to having more time here on Earth with his family and friends. He was a very influential man on choosing happiness in life. It was his kindness that kept him honest and generous to anyone in need no matter how that price affected him. To him, others were always first. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
