Steve Harmon

Funeral service for Steve Curtis Harmon, 88, of Ohatchee will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with pastor Andy Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12-1pm at the funeral home. Mr. Harmon passed away at his home on Thursday.

Survivors include his wife of over 68 years, Mary M. Harmon; daughter Terrie H. Ratcliffe; daughter-in-law Teresa Harmon Summerlin (Lee); sister Helen Harmon Robinson; brother Cecil Harmon (Judy); fourteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dogs Chipper and Bandit.

He is preceded in death by his son, Ronny Harmon; eight brothers and sisters; and his parents, William Joseph Harmon and Ida Mae George Harmon.

Pallbearers will be grandsons/nephews.

Mr. Harmon enjoyed fishing and watching Alabama football. He fashioned walking canes by hand and loved to feed his birds. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
