Graveside service for Mrs. Shelley Joyce Pedersen Cobb, 72 of Anniston will be 10:00 am, Friday, August 28, 2020 at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. On the evening of August 22, Mrs. Cobb went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bert and Joyce Pedersen.
She is survived by her husband Michael Cobb; and her son Scott (Shannon) Cobb;and daughter Julia (Jake) Christopher. She was a loving grandmother to Calista Cobb and Johnathan Christopher. Her siblings Arthur (Pam) Pedersen, Butch (Nancy) Pedersen and Kathy (Mike) Rhodes. She had many nieces and nephews.
Shelley was a prayer warrior, she prayed for everyone she met and she never met a stranger. She worked at Wal-Mart in Oxford for over 25 years. She was a kind and gentle soul that enjoyed spending time reading her Bible and being with family. Mike and Shelley were married 53 years and have traveled and lived across the United States.
