Rodney Harris Jones

Graveside services for Rodney Harris Jones, 72, of Anniston will be 10 am Friday, August 18, 2023 at United Fellowship Baptist Cemetery with Chaplain Gary Walker officiating. Mrs. Jones passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at his residence.

Survivors include his son, Robert Carl Jones, two grandchildren, Emily Jones (Chase Haney) and Jaxon Brown, one great grandchild Sydney Haney, one sister, Vickie Jones Medders (Ken).

Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Owens Jones, parents, Bud and Sydney Jones, brothers, Gary and Stanley Jones and nephew, Matt Jones.

Pallbearers will be Chase Haney, Ken Medders, Blake Graham, Marcus Jones, William Chaplain and Greg Jones.

Mr. Jones was a native and lifelong residence of Calhoun County. He was a 1969 graduate of Alexandria High School and a graduate of Birmingham Electrical School. Mr. Jones loves playing golf, crossword puzzles and solitaire.
