Rhonda Elane Coleman went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, June 4, 2021 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Rhonda was born in Anniston Alabama on February 3, 1958. She is survived by her lifelong sweetheart and husband of 43 years, Steve Coleman. Son, Jake Coleman; brothers, Terry Burris of Anniston, Alabama; Mike Burris and wife Sandy of Indianapolis, Indiana; Steve “Stevie” Burris and partner Ken Eklund of Atlanta, Georgia. Also, her 2 greatest blessings, her grandbabies, Cecilie and Eli Coleman.
Rhonda was just 2 semesters shy of her Masters in Education. She was a lifelong teacher and loved spending her time with all of the children she was blessed to have in her class. She had a way with them and they had a way with her!
Everyone that knew and or came into contact with Rhonda, also knew her love and passion for Alabama football! Roll Tide Rhonda, until we meet again!
Services will be on Monday June 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Jesus Christ Latter-Day-Saints, 1217 Lenlock Lane, Anniston, Alabama. Visitation from 1 to 2. Burial and dedication will follow the service at Vinson Cemetery in Ohatchee.
