She was the proud wife for 41 years to former Anniston and Dallas police officer and US Army Soldier, LTC. (Ret) William E Dobbs.
She worked in retail sales through her two children’s growing up years until the arrival of her grandchildren. Her next vocation was to assist the operations of a child daycare facility which enabled her to have an active involvement in her grandchildren’s lives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Dobbs; her parents Clyde and Emma Clark; nephew Rusty Clark; aunt, Odette Clay, Janie Clay; uncles, Bill Clay, Mickey Clay and Blackie Canada; brothers in law, Rick Bloomfield and Chris Spencer.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Kevin) Gann; son, William (Jennifer) Dobbs; sisters, Karen Bloomfield and Cheryl Spencer; brothers, Kenny Clark and David Clark; grandchildren, Haylee Grill, Alexis Burk, Ashton Gann, Nicky Gann and Austin Gann; great-grandchildren, Rhyan Grill, Jackson Grill, Dallas Burk, Madison Burk and Elania Hughes; nieces and nephews, David Clark, Scott Bloomfield, Ashley Bloomfield, Lisa Carri and Skip Clark.
