Funeral Service for Peggy Sue Webb, 76 of Anniston will be 2:00 pm, Saturday at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Rev. Jack Gray officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
Ms. Webb passed away March 11, 2020 at RMC Stringfellow Hospital.
She is survived by her siblings, Shirley Peace, Charles Webb (Shonnie), Joe Webb (Phyllis), Randall Webb, Kathy Angle (Travis) and Diane Ireland; and several nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Cora Webb and her sisters, Vivian Webb and Barbara Rumer.
Pallbearers will be Cody Webb, James Webb, David Webb, Justin Webb, Wesley Pitts and Dylan Murdaugh. Honorary Pallbearers will be nieces and nephews.
Peggy will be greatly missed by every life she touched along the way. She had a BIG hand in raising all her nieces and nephews…she was a surrogate mom to them all. She spent her life serving others…from the patients she cared for as a nurse, to any and everyone who needed compassion, love, and a kind heart…You could always count on Peggy. Her passing leaves an ache in our hearts that only God can quiet. I can only imagine the celebration in heaven today.
