Funeral services for Paul Chris "PC" Reeves age 65 of Oxford will be 11 am Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with Rev. Trey Jeffers officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home. Chris was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on June 12, 1956 and was a long time resident of Calhoun County. Chris passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, February 16, 2022.
He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Gina Toney Reeves, sons, Toney Reeves (Landen), Nick Reeves (Megan) and Shane Reeves, granddaughter, Tianna; brother-in-law Glenn Toney (Venita) and several nieces and nephews.
Chris was preceded in death by his father C.G. Boyd his mother Madeline Boyd and his brother Jimmy Reeves.
Pallbearers will be Michael Green, Zack Burford, Trent Jeffers, Coleton Tomlin, Randall Toney, Tim Cser Jr., Nathan Thomas and Quintin Blackmon.
Chris loved his fur babies Kobe and Zoe and his grand fur babies, Nike, Sara, Dilly Dilly and Layla.
Chris graduated from White Plains in 1975. He served in the Air Force for 4 years as an Air Traffic Controller. He was an avid Alabama fan. He founded the Alabama Custom Truck Club. He coached youth baseball and football. He was involved with a League of Our Own for several years.
Chris established lifelong relationships with so many young players over the years and most called him Dad. He loved all of them as if they were his own.
He loved his family fiercely and truly and you were truly blessed to call him friend. He will be greatly missed.
