Melanie Kay Hurst

Memorial service for Melanie Kay Hurst, 39, of Anniston, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 3rd, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with the Rev. Andy Lambert officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Ms. Hurst passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016.

Survivors include her children Cody, Kayla and Kara Hurst; mother, Sharon Brown; brothers, Kenny Brown (Shasta) and Michael Brown (Alyssa); fiancé, David Snyder; grandmother, Mary Ann Brown; 4 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles; and special friend, Jean Edney.

Ms. Hurst is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Brown; grandmother, Johnnie Bentley, and grandfather, Buel Brown.

Ms. Hurst will be dearly missed, especially by her children and grandchildren who knew her as “Nie-nie.”
